D-Link DSS-8+ 10/100Mbps high speed switch hib with Auto-Negotiation.
The D-Link DSS-8+ is a Dual-Speed 8-port 10/100Mb Ethernet/Fast Ethernet NWay auto-negotiating Switch that includes an uplink MDI-II port for network expansion. It is designed to eliminate unnecessary traffic, and relieve congestion by delivering dedicated bandwidth for each of the eight ports. The DSS-8+ can be deployed with multiple high-speed servers for shared bandwidth to 10Mbps or 100Mbps workgroups. With the highest bandwidth at 200Mbps (100Mbps in full-duplex mode), any port can provide workstations with a congestion-free data pipe for simultaneous access of the server.
The DSS-8+ complies with IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T and 802.3u 100BASE-TX, which specify NWay auto-negotiation, Flow control in half-duplex mode.
The DSS-8+ combines dynamic memory allocation with store-and forward switching to ensure that the buffer is effectively allocated for each port, while controlling the data flow between the transmit and receive nodes to guarantee against all possible packet loss.
The DSS-8+ includes added brackets for easy stacking, maximizing space while increasing port density.

Shipping Information: Orders placed before 3PM PST will usually be processed and shipped out on the same business day based on availability. Orders placed after 3PM PST will be processed the next business day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays will be processed on the next following business day. Pinecomputer reserves the right to hold orders if items are out of stock, on back order, or otherwise deemed suspicious and fraudulent for up to 30 days. Customers with orders that are out of stock or back ordered will be given the option to cancel the order or continue waiting.
Return Policy : All sales are considered final. A 20% restocking fee will be applied to items that are returned for a cash refund within 30 days upon arrival of the shipment. A defective or damaged item may be returned to exchange for a like item. Items that show obvious signs of negligence or intentional damage are not refundable. After 30 days, the item can only be exchanged or replaced if it is defective. Original shipping costs at time of purchase are not refundable once the item has been shipped. Return shipments are not refundable (except for items that are damaged upon arrival). Products that are not returnable include: Standalone DVR units, software, memory, hard drives, monitors, computer systems, printers and camera lenses.
Warranty:All products sold by us have a 180 day in-house warranty unless stated otherwise; such as those warrantied by the original manufacturer. In-house warranties are good for repair or exchange of like items only. Shipping costs for items that are returned for warranty are not refundable after 30 days. All prices are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors.
